Customer Review:
The book shows different way of improving English vocabulary. It introduces the reader to the "root" of the words. Once you know the root of the word, then you are likely to remember all words surrounded by it, created using it. It's like Marathi is originated from Sanskrit. Marathi speaking people knows "root" of many words. Then when to learn a new language originated from Sanskrit, e.g. Hindi or Gujrathi becomes easier. If we try to recite and mug up complete dictionary of a new language, it's just not possible. This book is read by most of convent people. I got this book from my convent friend as a recommendation. I loved the way Mr Lewis presented it. Each chapter is small and simple. Next chapter is related to previous one. Every morning or evening, we pray. Instead read one chapter, may take 30 mins or so. I assure you the success. If you are very poor in English, do not take the first long vocabulary test on first day; keep it for last day. I found it discouraging. You will enjoy otherwise.
